Madonna - Like a prayer (Video)

Help

what a powerful video and song, Janet. Just like a prayer. I love the way the images break through barriers and cultural baggage. Thank you.
Kathy~
leaving behind my definitions of prayer; foregoing belief, security & dreams in favor of reality & freedom is rather shattering…there are so many cultural patterns to abandon. mostly we trade one culture and its patterns/beliefs for another. no longer methodist, now pagan; no longer pagan, now shamanistic; no longer shamanistic, now zen. they all are simply systems.
one better than another? who can say?
I know exactly what you mean. Everything falls away. And we're left with….this moment….typing away on our computers, exchanging precious life. And even that may be labeling too much, perhaps?
:-)
“I'm down on my knees I wanna take you there” what ever does that mean?
I think this is the best song Madonna ever performed and the Video is
tasty. Leaves so much to the imagination. Just like your QaR ;-)
IMO, “down on my knees” is simply an illustration of how we will fall to worshiping an idea rather than experiencing reality:-)
Here's a link back to what I was thinking..
and it does make sense, but who really know with songs? I like your interpretation.
Great song choice and so much said in those four words. You always have a way of packing a punch with your words and music choices, Janet!
*HUGS*
This is beautiful, Janet. There is a movement beyond what is known and can be named to that which simply IS. There seems to be movement even beyond expectation. Let's rest a bit without the interruption of dreams! ;-D
